Montgomery, what many consider to be the birth place of the Lone Star Flag of Texas, and a charming place to live.
And, if you do live there then it is our goal as a home care provider to make sure you stay at home. Our caregivers will visit you, a family member or a loved one providing them with an excellent level of care, in your/their own home.
Receiving home care in Montgomery by our caregivers does not mean you are confined to your own home, our caregivers can escort the elder receiving care out to visit the local area.
For a good day out, with some important walking exercise involved why not visit the Fernland Historical Park. This area has an impressive display of historical houses all places together for your easy viewing.
Fernland Historical Park is a project run and managed by Fernland Inc.
Fernland Inc. is a not for profit organization whose sole purpose is to assist the City of Montgomery in relocating historic homes and log cabins to Montgomery to establish a museum and educational center that will improve the lifestyle of the City’s residents, attract tourism and provide educational opportunities for the public.
The park is small and has earth/gravel paths and trails around the vintage accommodation and other activities so sturdy footwear should be worn and if you are doubt of your agility or balance then suitable walking supports should be taken. But, not to worry, as the duties of the caregiver are to ensure that you are taken care of at all time during their time with you.
Aside from the areas you shall be walking and your ability to do so your caregiver will also check the weather to make sure you have suitable clothing with you, refreshments and suncream, etc. Also your medicinal requirements shall be taken into account and the caregiver shall take with you your necessary medication.
